Together Conference
This event provides an opportunity to come together from around the USA district and will foster fellowship and strengthen the bond we share in Christ. Come see old friends, and make new ones from across the nation.
Divine Service
We were first created to live an eternal paradise with God. An old hymn reminds us, “I’m but a stranger here, heaven is my home.” This applies to both the living and dead; both are displaced, existing in a world or realm that is not as it should be.
July 5 Divine Service
In this Service for the Departed, we pray that God would make us alive in His spirit. Rather than being bound to an earthly perspective of life, we know that Christ is Lord of life and death and He brings freedom, identity, endurance in suffering, and eternal life.
July 8 Divine Service
In praying to love more and more, we recognize that any outpouring of love from us is rooted in God’s love, revealed in Christ. We are called to respond to this grace with tangible acts of love towards God and our neighbor, that reveal His love in our lives.
July 12 Divine Service
This Sunday begins our focus on the Lord’s Prayer with the phrase, “Your kingdom come.” We will come to know that the kingdom is at hand - it is within our space, time, and being.
July 19 Divine Service
Encapsulating all we need to exist, we pray that God would “Give us this day our daily bread.” It a prayer for earthly sustenance, for Christ - our spiritual nourishment, for communal responsibility, and for daily dependence and trust.
July 26 Divine Service
Praying that God would “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors,” reveals the need for both recognition and response.
Divine Service
Jesus Christ has opened a new and living way into God’s presence through His sacrifice, as our faithful High Priest. We can draw near with confident faith, knowing that God provides hope in discouragement, through past faithfulness and present encouragement embedded in our community of faith as we await His promised return.
Divine Service
This sermon takes us to the time of the Jewish people rebuilding Jerusalem after exile. When they receive and understand God’s commands, holy days, and provision, God provides strength in desolation. His joy, not their circumstances, becomes an enduring source of strength.
Midweek Service
Through the unchanging cornerstone of Jesus Christ, God provides security in instability anchored in Christ’s gospel, love, grace, authority, and promises.
Divine Service
Perhaps like the disciples, our joy is misplaced in what we accomplish or experience. Yet, we will see that God provides true joy in misunderstanding, when we allow Him to redirect us.
